Fish / Amphibians

It is believed that fish may have evolved from a creature similar to a coral-like Sea Squirt. The first ancestors of fish may have kept the larval form into adulthood, evolving into the fish we know today. The first amphibians developed from lobe-finned fish in the Devonian period 370 million years ago. Some fish had developed lungs to help them breathe air when the stagnant pools of the Devonian swamps were low in oxygen.
