A Stereo Microscope allow specimens to be viewed with two eyepieces, giving a 3D like view. These microscopes tend to be low to medium magnification with mostly transmitted lighting. They are more suitable for both large, or solid objects, such as fossils, coins, rocks and circuit boards.
