The Jaw Crusher (Glen Creston)

The Jaw Crusher is used for both laboratory and production purposes for crushing various hard, semi-hard and soft friable materials. Depending on the raw material, the size reduction is down to 6mm. The body and moving jaw plate carrier are of cast iron, and the machine incorporates a feed chute with a protective grid and cover. Jaw plates are of manganese steel.

McCrone Micronising Mill (Glen Creston)

The McCrone Micronising Mill rapidly reduces samples by a unique vibratory grinding action. Each element within the grinding vessel moves with respect to its neighbour so as to produce linear contact blows and planar shearing. It is most useful for X-Ray Diffraction, X-Ray Fluorescence, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy and Infra Red Spectroscopy. A jar containing 48 grinding pellets in ordered array is gyrated around a horizontal axis, this can be done wet or dry.

Gy-Ro Dish/Puck Mill GM100
